Revolution is an American film about the long American Revolutionary War starring Al Pacino. Trapper Tom Dobb (Al Pacino) plays a loving, protective father as he becomes a disinclined service-man of Continental Army. Though Tom is against his son, Ned (Dexter Fletcher), joining the military, he joins, reluctantly, to fight alongside his imprudent son. Through the eyes of a man and his young, naive son, the movie depicts the gruesome encounters of the POW camps that American soldiers endured during the Revolutionary War as they fought for their freedom. As Tom is forced to carry a dummy made to look just like George Washington while dogs chase after him, he has a change of heart knowing that he must stand up and fight for the freedoms that Americans hold so dear. Father and son join forces to fight for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness in this breath-taking film of love and war.
