Revolutionary Road is an American drama film based on the best seller by Richard Yates. The film made a debut in 2008 and received 3 Academy Award nominations. It reunites stars Leonardo DiCapro and Kate Winslet, who have previously played lovers in the film 'Titanic'. The movie takes place in 1955 with Frank (Leonardo DiCapro) working in an office job commuting to New York City and his wife April (Kate Winslet) being a house wife. As they are hitting their seven-year itch in the marriage neither one is happy. As perfect as the couple looks to friends and family they are secretly upset with their lives. April soon gets an idea to start over in their lives and move to Paris-Which she has never been before but Frank visited once and loved it. At first Frank is skeptical of the move but soon changes his mind, making the couple do whatever it takes to feel happy again.
