Rhythm in the Clouds is a 1937 comedy musical directed by John H. Auer and written by Ray Bond. The story revolves around a poor and unpopular songwriter, Judy Walker (Patricia Ellis), who writes a false letter of admittance to gain access to the apartment of a famous and rich composer Bob McKay (Warren Hull). It works in her favor as the successful music author is out of town on vacation. Judy decides to seize the opportunity and settles temporarily at his home until Bob returns. As she has no money to pay the rent, she tells everyone that she is one of his partners and makes herself comfortable at her new place. Fortunately, a song she writes becomes a great radio hit that earns the missing composer a lot of credit, as Judy lists him as the co-writer. Will Bob accept the involuntary new turn that his life has taken when he returns? The film contains scenes with vivid conversations, glamorous people and nice music tunes.moreless
