Ride Lonesome is a western film which was directed and produced by Budd Boetticher in 1959. Ride Lonesome was part of a series of films that marked the screen debut of actor James Coburn. It stars Randolph Scott as Ben Brigade, a bounty hunter who captures wanted outlaw Billy John (James Best). Even though he has been captured, Billy John boasts that his brother Frank (Lee Van Cleef) will never get away with bringing Billy John to justice in Santa Cruz. On his mission to capture and earn the reward on Billy John's head, Brigade encounters two unwelcome partners who have joined him in his journey, and he suspects that they're not just tagging along for the ride-they also want the reward on the outlaw's head. And so, in "Ride Lonesome", the mission to bring Billy John to justice becomes even more intense.
