Riders of the Whistling Pines is the 1949 Western musical starring the legendary singing cowboy, Gene Autry. In this adventure, Gene is framed for a crime he didn't do. A forest is ravaged by insects, and no-good loggers are looking for a new place to get the wood they need. They make a move to harvest protected land, but a forest ranger stands in their way. They murder him in cold blood, and frame Autry for the crime. The loggers also spray the forests to try to kill the insects, but their plan also hurts the wildlife. Now Autry must try to clear his name and stop the bad guys once again, and save the forest and animals before it is too late. He is joined by an adventurous aviator, played by Jimmy Lloyd, and his leading lady Patricia White. Join the Singing Cowboy as he serves up more of his brand of justice in the 1949 film Riders of the Whistling Pines.
