Riding Shotgun is a classic Western film that continues to follow the beloved character of Larry Delong (Randolph Scott). Larry appeared in two other classic western films, In the Man Behind the Gun and Thunder Over the Plains. In Riding Shotgun Larry is pitted against a troublesome gang as he tries to maintain control in Texas. Larry is a shotgun rider on a stagecoach and realizes that he must use his skills as a shotgun rider to help save his town after he realizes that the gang is going to put into place a dangerous robbery plan. The gang also has many men in it that were a part of the murder of Larry's sister and young nephew. Larry tries to fight against the gang in order to save his town but also to avenge his family's death in this classic tale of an American shotgun rider in rural Texas.
