Righteous Kill with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro as partner detectives, is a thriller in New York City about a pair of veteran police detectives investigating a special murder case. Like the original murder case, the new case has the same four line poem next to the body justifying the killer. This poem makes it obvious that it is the same killer. When more murders occur, the detectives realize that they are looking for a serial killer, one who looks for victims who have fallen through the cracks of the justice system. The murderer wants to do what cops can't do on their own, and kill people who should have been in jail. The similarities in the cases, make the detectives wonder did they put the wrong suspect in jail?
