River's End begins when city-raised 17-year-old Clay Watkins (Sam Huntington) falls into a pattern of committing petty crimes and finding trouble at his high school after the death of his father. His country savvy grandfather, fictional Menard County Sheriff Buster Watkins (Barry Corbin) uses old-fashioned cowboy logic to give the troubled teen some tough love and a choice that will change his life forever: either do jail time for his crimes or go on a 60-mile wilderness journey through the hill-country of Texas. Clay decides on the trek, but he may come to regret his decision as he faces several challenges along his journey, learning more about the nature of his true character than he ever would have at home. Filmed on location in Central, South and West Texas and written by Molding Clay Productions. Also starring Caroline Goodall as Sara Watkins, Amanda Brooks as Regina Kennedy and Charles Robinson as Deputy "Fetch".moreless
