R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: Don't Think About It is a 2007 children's horror film directed by Alex Zamm. Goth teenager Cassie (Emily Osment) just moved to a small town with her father, mother, and little brother, Max (Alex Winzenread). When she starts at her new school, the popular girls, who are led by Priscilla Wright (Brittany Curran), begin to bully Cassie mercilessly. Feeling rejected and alone, Cassie takes a walk and discovers a creepy bookstore run by a strange man. She finds a book called The Evil Thing and buys it for only a few dollars from the shop owner, who seems eager to get rid of it. The front cover of the book states that it should not be read aloud, but Cassie ignores the warning and reads it to her brother on Halloween night. When the monster from the story then emerges to snatch her little brother, Cassie and a new friend, Sean Redford (Cody Linley), must fight to get him back.moreless
