Road Movie is a 1974 drama directed by Joseph Strick. Gil (Robert Drivas) and Hank (Barry Bostwick) are two independent truck drivers who have their fair share of troubles. They fight with cops and have to pay them off when their loads are over weight. They owe money to traffic managers and bank managers who financed their rig. Their real troubles begin however, when they pick up a gum-chewing hooker named Janice (Regina Baff). The trio travels through the U.S. on their way to New York taking in the sites while showcasing the glamorous life of truck stops. Throughout the journey, the two chauvinistic truckers mistreat Janice horribly. When they go to dump her off the rig like used garbage, it's the last straw. Janice becomes tired of her sordid way of life and of being abused by men. She decides she isn't going to take it anymore and goes on a vengeful rampage.
