Robin Hood: The Movie is a full length telling of Robin Hood, one of the most classic childrens' stories of all time. Just as ageless as the old story of Robin Hood is the black and white television series from the 1950s based on its tales. And in 1991, archives were collected and colorized, resulting in a captivating full length motion picture in all its glory. Sir Robin of Loxley (Richard Greene) comes back home after his many adventures fighting the crusades to find that his land has been taken away by the Sheriff of Nottingham (Alan Wheatley). Not one to take such news lying down, Robin hides out in the forest, picking his spots to take on the Sheriff and regain what has been taken from him and other poor people. In the adventure of a lifetime, Robin, along with help from such folks as Little John, (Archie Duncan), gets back the land and becomes a legend and a hero in the process.moreless
