Robot Monster is the 1953 schlock sci-fi sensation, featuring everybody's favorite fish-bowl headed monster, and directed by Phil Tucker (The Cape Canaveral Monsters, Strips Around the World). During an idyllic picnic at a cheerful and scenic abandoned quarry, a young brat dreams himself into a post-apocalyptic world. The human race has been obliterated, except for him, his two sisters, their parents and an oily braggart without a shirt. The ruins of the earth are now held in the all powerful grip of the Robot Monster and his Bubble Machine of Doom! The robot monster, or Ro-Man as his friends call him, is a pathetic guy who waddles around a cave in a gorilla suit with a cheapo space helmet on his head. Ro-Man is determined to kill off the brat and his family, but he finds himself inexplicably attracted to the eldest girl. He must kill her, but he cannot... but he must! But he cannot!
