Rock 'N Roll Jukebox is like MTV from 1956. This video music collection brings back the hits from the golden age of Rock and Roll. Black and white footage taken from live performances of an old Alan Freed film covers the soundtrack. The father of Rock and Roll, Chuck Berry, starts the set by playing "You Can't Catch Me" to a bunch of screaming fans. Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers come up next with their hit "Baby, Baby." The Moonglows slow things down covering, "I Knew From the Start." The Johnny Brunette Trio livens things up again with "Lonesome Train," setting up Jimmy Cavallo and the House Rockers to excite the audience while swaying to "Rock, Rock, Rock." Connie Francis joins Alan Freed and his Rock 'n Roll Band in "Never Had A Sweetheart" to close the lineup. The video also includes more classics from The Chuckles, Cirino and the Bowties, The Flamingos, La Vern Baker and The Gliders, Teddy Randazzo and Ivy Schulman, completing the cast of veteran rock idols.moreless
