Rocky II is the long awaited sequel to the classic first film which picks up right after the legendary first match to chronicle the newfound fame and fortune of the formerly down on his luck Rocky (Sylvester Stallone, FIST, Nighthawks, Cobra, First Blood, Rambo). Despite both champion Apollo Creed's (Carl Weathers, Action Jackson, Predator, Happy Gilmore) emphatic former claim that there will be no rematch and Rocky's declaration that all he wanted was to go the distance in the bout with Apollo, the two resolve to meet each other again in a titanic rematch that will conclusively decide the true victor of their struggle.
