Rocky Mountain Rangers is a 1940s Western filmed in Texas and pre-statehood Oklahoma. It chronicles the story of three Texas Rangers, Rusty Joslin (Raymon Hatton), Rico Rinaldo (Duncan Renaldo) and Stony Brooke (Robert Livingston). The three Rangers are after a gang of murderers but become frustrated when they're informed that they are not allowed to enter the 'Panhandle', because it is not part of Texas. It is illegal to bounty hunt outside of the State. The crew devises a plan to lure the gang into the State. Stony decides that he is going to pose as an outlaw and enlist as a member of their gang. If Stony can pull his trick off, then the gang will lose their freedom. If Stony gets caught, he might lose his throat. For fans of classic B movies, this is a must see. Rocky Mountain Rangers is written by Earle Snell and directed by George Sherman.
