Rating:

Role Models is a comedy directed by David Wain and released in 2008. Danny (Paul Rudd) and Wheeler (Seann William Scott) are thirty-something employees at an energy drink company who spend their days promoting the beverage to school students. Both are unhappy in their dead-end jobs and unsure of how to escape them. One evening, Danny and Wheeler brawl with a truck driver and are promptly arrested. Choosing community service over a prison term, they're assigned to mentor two teens taking part in a "Big Brother" program called Sturdy Wings. Danny gets paired with nerdy Augie (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), a history buff who loves historical re-enactments and live action role-playing. Wheeler is assigned to Ronnie (Bobb'e J. Thompson), a tiny terror who curses like a sailor and shares his love of heavy metal music. Now, Danny and Wheeler must bond with their young charges, set good behavioral examples and complete their assigned 150 hours of community service.
