Rolling is a 2007 docudrama directed by Billy Samoa Saleebey. Young ecstasy drug users from Los Angles including: a lawyer, med student, a teenage runaway, a drag queen, a high- school basketball player, a drug dealer, and a teacher all cross paths in the Ecstasy-infested L.A. underground party scene. Rolling is a conflicting journey that takes a tough but entertaining look at the unique drug culture in L.A. With the style of a documentary, it captures the basics of Ecstasy culture, while showing the delicate balance of relationships and responsibilities while chasing this drug-induced experience. Rolling mostly explores the use of MDMA, usually called "Ecstasy", through documentary-style interviews with a number of characters about the events that occur one very long -- but energetic and emotionally open -- evening in Los Angeles with the drug. The societal cross-section includes stars: Albert Rothman, Rachel Hardisty, Sanoe Lake, Joshua Harper, Garrett Brawith and Christine Cowden.
