Rosemary Clooney Singing at Her Best is a showcase of beautiful music all performed by one of the mid-20th century's most beloved vocalists. Featuring archival footage of Rosemary Clooney performing some of her most popular songs, Rosemary Clooney Singing at Her Best also includes rare clips from her own 1950s television show. Some of jazz's biggest stars are honored in her rendition of Duke Ellington's "I'm Checking Out," and songs by the likes of Irving Berlin, the Gershwins, and Rodgers and Hammerstein. Clooney's musical career was highlighted by several unlikely duets, such as with stars Boris Karloff and Tab Hunter, both featured in the film. In a departure from her usual jazz standards, a Western-themed segment features Clooney performing a duet with Bing Crosby through songs such as "Don't Fence Me In" and "San Antonio Rose." Rosemary Clooney Singing at Her Best is a delightful homage to one of America's greatest female vocalists.
