Rough Riders of Cheyenne is the story of an escalating feud over farm and cattle lands in the old West. After the death of his father, Sunset Carson (Sunset Carson) returns home to find the long-standing feud between his family and the neighboring Sterling family intact. Still, Carson suspects the feud is not necessarily responsible for the violent confrontations occurring between them. Complicating matters further, a budding romance develops between Carson and Melinda Sterling (Peggy Stewart). Together, they work to discover who is inciting violence between their two families before Melinda's brother, Martin Sterling (Michael Sloane), can challenge Carson to an honor duel to settle their dispute once and for all. The film also features a singing cowboy, Ward Tuttle (Monte Hall), crooning the classic tune, "The Old Chisholm Trail." A Romeo & Juliet on the range, Rough Riders of the Cheyenne is a classic B-movie western featuring a legend of the genre, Sunset Carson.
