Rowan Atkinson Live! shows a live performance by British comedian Rowan Atkinson filmed before a live Boston audience in 1991, and also marketed under the title Rowan Atkinson: Not Just A Pretty Face. Atkinson, famed for playing such roles as Mr. Bean and Edmund Blackadder, performs a combination of stand-up and sketch comedy to delight and entertain his audience. Atkinson masterfully adapts his absurd and witty style of humor to the stage in a number of original sketches during this performance, including "A Warm Welcome," "Pink Tights and Plenty of Props," and "Invisible Man." Atkinson also recreates some popular sketches originally performed on the Mr. Bean television series, including "It Started with a Sneeze;" however, most of the material included in this film is unique rather than revisions of his well-known characters. Extras included with this presentation of Rowan Atkinson Live! include "Tom, Dick, and Harry," "Elementary Dating," and "Guys After the Game."
