Movie Summary

Released:
2002
Rating:

R.S.V.P., from director Mark Anthony Galluzzo, is a black comedy paying homage to the Hitchcockian theme of the perfect crime. Nick Collier (Rick Otto) is a student of criminal psychology professor Hal Evans (Glenn Quinn). Hal is renowned as an expert on serial killers and his passion for the topic is contagious. Nick attends his lectures obsessively and when the topic turns to the famous Leopold and Loeb murder, Nick hatches his own plan for the perfect murder. Nick invites his college pals to a lavish going away party for their friend Jimmy Franklin (Lucas Babin). As his guests arrive to the posh Las Vegas penthouse, they begin to wonder about the absence of the guest of honor. Little do they know Jimmy has already arrived, although being dead and stuffed into the centerpiece may not be considered proper dinner party etiquette. Unfortunately for Nick, when his guests are slowly killed one by one, he realizes he is not the only killer at the party.moreless
