Run for the Sun is a suspense movie that follows the journey of a man and woman who are trying to escape a ruthless killer. Browne (Trevor Howard) is a British traitor, who along with his Nazi friends, Jan (Carlos Henning) and Von Andre (Peter Van Eyck), is hiding in a Mexican jungle. Browne likes to hunt down and kill innocent people. Reporter Katy Conners (Jane Greer) and writer Mike Latimer (Richard Widmark) are on a plane that is forced to land in the area that Browne and his companions are hiding in. When Browne learns of Katy and Mike's arrival, he greets them as welcomed guests. But when Mike figures out who Browne is, he realizes they are in grave trouble.
