Safehouse is a 2009 action-adventure film directed by John Paoque. Cooper O'Neil (Johnny Alonso) is a retired FBI agent who lives a quiet life running a marina with Emily Sanders (Carolina Hoyos). When his ex-partner's dead body washes up near his boat, Cooper finds a mysterious flash drive he believes contains information his partner wanted him to know. Cooper's friend, Teaberry Jones (Clayton Meyers) is a computer expert who takes a look at the mysterious flash drive. When Emily and Cooper are attacked at the marina by a hit man who wants the flash drive back, Cooper must find out who is behind his partner's murder and who wants the sensitive information. FBI agent Samantha Ward (Sheila Cutchlow) takes Cooper and Emily to a safe house where she explains that Cooper's old partner was part of a sting operation where he infiltrated a mob ran by Salvatore Antoino Moffa (Robert Miano). Salvatore is known to fund terrorist activities, and has plans to hack into the U.S. military's payroll to fund his own bank account. Cooper must stop him before it is too late.moreless
