Saga of Death Valley is a classic Roy Rogers western of the late 1930s and early 1940s. Roy Rogers, Sr. (Lane Chandler) is killed by the villainous Ed Tasker (Frank M. Thomas), taking the senior Rogers' son Tim (Buz Buckley) with him. Many years later, Roy Rogers, Jr. (Roy Rogers) returns to run his family's ranch under an assumed name. While working on the ranch, Roy reunites with Ann Meredith (Doris Day), with whom he had shared a relationship with in the past, and rekindles their romance. When Tasker persists in his extortion and racketeering schemes, Roy gathers together a group to take him down. However, Roy soon realizes that he has not only Tasker to contend with, but his own brother, Tim. Fans of classic western action are sure to love this movie. Roy Rogers brings his unique style to this film, and shows why he is still remembered as one of the great western actors.
