Saga of the Viking Women is a class science fiction-fantasy film by Director Roger Corman. In this 1957 film Desir (Abby Dalton) is a Viking woman who is fed up with waiting, after three years, for the return of her Viking man from a hunting expedition. She takes matters into her own hands, leading a group of other Viking women on a search for their men. Things get interesting when they discover a young stowaway, lose their ship, and find themselves washed up on the shore of an island. As luck would have it, their husbands are prisoners on that same island, held captive in a large rock quarry by a group of barbarian warriors. Can they use their wits to escape with their men and return to Viking Land? Saga of the Viking Women is sixty-five minutes of monsters, action, Viking fun, complete with swords, ships, and lots of blonds.
