Saints and Sinners, written and directed by Paul Mones, tells the story of one-time hood Pooch (Damian Choppa) as he returns to his old neighborhood resolved to stay on the straight and narrow. However, being back home puts Pooch in the middle of a life he was trying to leave behind. After getting back, Pooch reconnects with his old friend, Big Boy (Scott Plank), a low-level thug looking to move up in the world. He hopes he can make a major drug score with the help of his old friend. What Big Boy doesn't know is that Pooch has come back as an undercover police officer tasked with putting his former friends in jail. Saints and Sinners portrays Pooch's turmoil in working against his friends and his burgeoning romance with Eva (Jennifer Rubin) while considering the responsibilities of friendship and how to act morally while still paying homage to your roots.
