2010
Rating:
PG-13

Salt is a 2010 action thriller film by director Phillip Noyce, starring Angelina Jolie as the title character. Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) is a highly respected CIA Agent, one of the top agents in her division. But when a Russian spy walks into their offices and announces that the President of Russia will be assassinated during his upcoming visit to New York City and that the assassin's name will be Evelyn Salt, the tables turn. Now Salt finds herself on the run and unable to even contact her husband, because contacting him would only place his life under further danger. Salt's efforts to prove her innocence have the opposite effect, raisingdoubts as to who she is and what her motives really are, even for her boss, Ted Winter (Liev Schreiber), who believes that Salt is not a KGB sleeper agent. Salt is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence and action.
