Samaritan Girl is a 2004 South Korean drama directed by Ki-duk Kim. In the film, best friends, Yeo-jin (Kwak Ji-min) and Jae-yeoung (Seo Mino-jeong), are two teenage girls who dream of traveling to Europe. In order to raise funds for their travels, they plan a small amateurish prostitution ring. Their business plans designates Yeo-jin as the manager, she will be responsible for arranging meetings, collecting payments and keeping a look-out for police. Jae-yeoung's only responsibility is to please her clients. Unfortunately, Yeo-jin fell short on her duties and during one of Jae-yeoung's meetings the police arrive to bust the young prostitute. Fearing punishment, Jae-yeoung panics and is accidentally killed. Yeo-jin is racked with guilt and begins to take care of the Jae-young's clients herself, both as a way to punish herself and to temporarily ease some of her guilt. Unfortunately for Yeo-jin, her police officer father is on to her gig and will stop at nothing to put an end to it.moreless
