Samurai is a spy-exploitation film, originally filmed in the 1940's and recently released in Technicolor. In the film, a Japanese child is found orphaned in the rubble after an earthquake and adopted by the American couple that found him. The Japanese American boy, Ken Morey, (Ronald Siu, Paul Fung ) is taken under the wing of a local priest (Luke Chan), who believes he needs to remain connected to his cultural history. The priest trains him in the way of the samurai, brainwashing him with the Bushido agenda and Anti-American propaganda. As a young adult, Ken travels the globe, studying culture, art and deadly sciences. Eventually, the boy returns home a well-educated man, and becomes a powerful samurai and a leader in the American Government. As a leading member of the California government, he works to infiltrate the government with Japanese spies in order to orchestrate a major take over of the state.
