Sasquatch: The Legend Of Bigfoot is a 1977 docudrama horror film directed by Ed Raggozino. The film was released to appear as much like a real documentary as possible, so as to maximixe the fright, much like today's found footage horror films do (Blair Witch Project, and so on). The film follows a group of scientists who have set out into the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest to try to capture a Sasquatch. In proper horror movie style the scientists end up finding a Sasquatch and wish that they hadn't! The film features re-accounts of past Bigfoot encounters based on actual true reports. The screams of the creature in this film are supposedly taken from actual, real recording of Bigfoot! This is considered one of the best Bigfoot movies ever made and is an enjoyable, if slightly cheesy and highly 70s film!
