Saturday Night Live (SNL) - The Best of Tracy Morgan 2 is another round of the off-beat comedy that made Morgan a centerpiece of the weekend show and later a star of Thirty Rock. The video shows Morgan in some of his best sketches playing his recurring characters. He plays an abusive Redd Foxx from Sanford and Son, a retelling of the old show that a bit too close to real life. Morgan is well-known for playing characters like Brian Fellows, the eccentric zookeeper, Harry Belafonte, the homeless guy who lives in the sewer and writes poetry, Maya Angelou, and Star Jones. It was Morgan who created Dominican Lou, the earthy news reporter. What makes him the great comedian that he is is that when he walks into a sketch or makes an appearance on Weekend Update, the set is entirely consumed by Morgan's larger than life personality. Volume 1 wasn't enough to contain him, so now there's more.
