Savage Grace is the 2007crittically acclaimed drama based on a true story, starring Julianne Moore, Elena Anaya, Hugh Dancy, Stephen Dillane, and Eddie Redmayne, directed by Tom Kalin, and is now available from ICF Films. Adapted from the Natalie Robins book of the same name, the film handles the very taboo subject of incest set in high society. When rich socialite, and recent widow of the heir to Bakelite plastics fortune, Barbary Daly Baekeland loses her usual charm and sunny disposition to loneliness and depression, her relationship with her own son Antony takes on a new level. The results of which can only lead to tragedy, misfortune, and murder. The film received a 2009 nomination for best screenplay from the Independent Spirit Awards. This controversial film dramatizes one of the most noted personal tragedies in recent American history and proves that at times the truth is much more shocking than fiction.
