Savage Island is a schlocky action adventure film from 1985 that was directed by Nicholas Beardsley. It's so called plot revolves around several scantily clad female prisoners who have been sentenced to work in a South American emerald mine. In the mine the women meet up with a band of jewel thieves and decide to rise up and revolt against their captors. 'Savage Island' is not in fact an original movie, but one that was cobbled together from footage from two other films, 'Orinoco: Prigioniere del sesso' and 'Femmine Infenali.' Only 10 minutes was new footage. This strange editing resulted in an incoherent movie with characters appearing and dissappearing throught the length of the film, depending on what original film the footage was taken from.
