Scalplock is a 1966 action movie that was directed by James Goldstone and produced by Screen Gems. The movie is based upon a frontier gambler, Benjamin Calhoun (Dale Robertson), who manages to win a railroad as part of his winnings from a gambling game. As a result, Calhoun bites off more than he can chew, as he must now figure out a way to not only pay the workers, manage the railroad, but also complete a project that he knows very little about. He also does not have the finances to complete everything, thus he must do everything he can to figure out what his next plan of action will be. All the while, other wealthier men are attempting to steal the railroad from him. Will Calhoun be able to turn his winnings into a successful railroad, or will he cave into all the bullying he is suffering from and ultimately sell to the wealthier men?
