Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King is a 2008 children's film and the twelfth in a series of Warner Bros. featuring the classic mystery-solving gang in contemporary cartoons for a new generation of kids. This installment finds Scooby, Shaggy, and the rest of the gang spending Halloween night at a local Halloween carnival, where the cheesy side-show acts boasting mystical talents and bizarre histories are a welcome, whimsical change to the real mysteries the gang is used to. One magician, The Amazing Krudsky, refuses to let Scooby into his show, so Shaggy and Scooby decide to get back at the fake magician by using their detective skills to expose Krudsky as a fraud. Krudsky goes back to his tent, where he discovers that real magic does exist, and he'll be able to wield tremendous power if he travels into the magic realm and takes the Goblin scepter from the Goblin King. Now, it's up to the gang to follow Krudsky into the magic realm and stop him before the mean magician returns with the scepter. Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King features an all-star cast of voice actors, including Casey Kasem, Frank Welker, Jay Leno, James Belushi, and Tim Curry as the Goblin King.moreless
