Scooby-Doo and the Samurai Sword is one of the series of animated films based on the Scooby-Doo cartoons, and starring Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Fred, and Daphne. They are visiting Tokyo for Daphne to be in a martial arts competition, which her friend Miyumi explains will be very difficult. Simultaneously, the Black Samurai, an ancient Japanese warrior whose armor was to become a display at a Tokyo ancient history museum, has come back to life and is after the Destiny Scroll, a relic at the martial arts school where the competition is to take place. The Black Samurai steals the scroll in the middle of the night, but Miss Mirimoto, who runs the school, was clever enough to switch it with a copy. It turns out that the Black Samurai needs a riddle on the scroll to find the Sword of Doom, an evil sword he possessed while he was alive in ancient times. Mirimoto allows the gang to solve the riddle so they can get to the sword before he can, and when they get to it, they sefeat the Black Samurai in a showdown. When they bring him back, however, Miss Mirimoto turns out to be not who she seems. Will the gang be able to escape their evil clutches?moreless
