Scourge is set in the quiet town of Harborford, Washington, where an ancient parasite has been entombed in a church's floorboards for a century and a half. During a freak fire at the church, the evil has been released. The Scourge enters its host's body through their bellybutton; however, it can only remain in a body for six hours. Thus it must hop from body to body to survive. When leaving its host's body, they die. As bodies begin to pile up, Sherriff Durst (Russell Ferrier) and Deputy Sam (Jason Harder) begin to look at the town's bad boy, Scott (Nic Rhind), as the most likely suspect. It is up to Scott's ex-girlfriend, Jesse (Robyn Ledoux), Sherriff Durst's niece, to prove his innocence. To stop it, Scott and Jesse will have to find it, but with no where left to run, they must stand and fight.
