Screamtime is an anthology of three horror tales that are big on low-budget chills and thrills. The story opens in downtown New York City where two lowlife teens steal three video tapes from a mysterious shop. The teens take the subway back to Brooklyn where they set up to watch the tapes at a girlfriend's apartment. The first tale is "Hidden Punch" and centers around a struggling puppeteer named Jack (Robin Bailey). Jack's family wants him to quit the puppeteer racket but, with the help of his deadly puppets, Jack has the final word. "Scream House" follows newlyweds Tony (Ian Saynor) and Susan (Yvonne Nicholson) as they move into a home that Tony's father was unable to sell. They discover the reason the house did not sell when they are visited by the ghost of a homicidal maniac. The last tale, "Garden of Blood," tells of young Gavin (David van Day), a gardener with plans to rob the two elderly sisters that employ him. Unfortunately for Gavin, flowers aren't the only thing populating the spinsters' garden.moreless
