Second Chances is a 1998 American drama film by director James Fargo, starring Tom Amandes, Isabel Glasser, and Kelsey Mulrooney. After ten year old Sunny (Kelsey Mulrooney) loses her father in a car accident that robs her of the use of both of her legs, she becomes withdrawn and cut off from the world. But when she moves to a horse ranch with her mother and befriends a crippled horse, Ginger, she realizes that all may not be lost. The owner of the ranch, former rodeo star Ben Taylor (Tom Amandes), immediately recognizes the connection between the girl and the horse and helps to foster a healing relationship. A family-friendly heart-warming film, based on a true story, Second Chances tells a story of hope, revitalization and, most of all, second chances.
