Secret of the Cave is a 2006 film created by students at Southern Adventist University that is based on a children's story by Arthur Maxwell. Roy Wallace ( Kevin Novotny) is an American boy who is spending the summer in a small fishing village in Ireland. Even though his dad lived in the town as a child, Roy is not too pleased about having to stay there for his entire school vacation. Shortly after he arrives, mysterious things start to happen all around him. The townspeople think that there are ghosts haunting the village, and they attribute all these bizarre occurrences to a mysterious local cave. Although Roy is afraid, he bravely joins forces with some new teenage friends, Oscar (Gareth O'Connor) and Abbey (Niamh Finn), to journey deep into the cave and uncover its secrets. With its engaging central mystery and its many thrilling adventures, this film is great fun for families to watch together.
