Secret Passions is romantic drama that was directed by Michael Pressman and stars the sultry Susan Lucci and John James. Eric Beckett (John James) takes his wife Karen (Susan Lucci) to a romantic and charmingly historical New England Village for their anniversary. While on vacation, they decide to take a detour and stay at this rustic inn that Karen finds herself inexplicably drawn to. Even though they have reservations at another hotel, Karen begs Eric to stay there and rent a room for the night. Not only does Karen have a mysterious predilection towards this inn, she also finds herself drawn to a specific room that has been sealed off for years and is emblazoned with an enormous yet unusual antique mirror. In this mirror, Karen catches glimpses of an eerie spectre of an 18th-century woman. These bone-chilling images and surroundings are bizarrely surreal and familiar to Karen and as the days pass, Karen's behavior quickly changes from reserved and demur to volatile and sexually aggressive. She discovers that she is there to fulfill a malevolent legacy and the thrilling fear and horror will leave you spellbound until the secret and chilling climax.moreless
