Seducing Doctor Lewis is a 2003 Quebecois comedy film directed by Jean-Francois Pouliot. It was the first film he directed. The plot follows a small Quebec fishing town going through some hard times as the economy is going down. However a large company decides to build a factory there and the townspeople are thrilled as they expect this to create jobs and turn their economy around. There is a catch though, as the factory will only be built if the town can convince a full time professional doctor to move there. Now it's up to a local (played by Raymond Bouchard) to organize a no holds barred crusade to get a big city doctor (played by David Boutin) to come to the town. The film won the audience award at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival. It was shot in Harrington Harbour, Quebec, on a small island with a population of around three hundred people.

The film's warm, sweet sentiments are genial and unchallenging, and its jokes are low-key and gentle.
