Sesame Street: Preschool is Cool! ABCs with Elmo is a kid's film geared towards preschoolers. In the film, all your favorite characters from Sesame Street join together to teach lessons about the alphabet. Grover is the teacher of the class and begins the story by trying to find something that begins with every letter of the alphabet beginning with A and ending with Z. Little red Elmo is the teacher's helper and between the two of them the adventure in ABC land can entertain children the whole way through. The film combines the use of animation, puppets and music to teach children the name of every letter and the sounds each letter makes. They teach the classic alphabet songs, in addition to newer songs intended on teach children all of the letters of the alphabet. This show is the first in a series of twelve that work to prepare young children for their first day of preschool.
