Seven Days in May is a political thriller from 1964, set a few years into the future. President Lyman has become unpopular because of the treaty he is about to sign with Russia limiting the nuclear arms race. General Scott, his most outspoken critic, is secretly preparing a military coup to overthrow the government, and, with just a week to go, his aide, Colonel Casey, finds out. Can the coup be stopped?
