Seven Days to Live is a thriller about a grieving couple and their move into a deserted house. Ellen Shaw (Amanda Plummer) and her novelist husband Martin (Sean Pertwee) have recently lost a baby and want to get away so Martin can finish his novel and both can deal with their loss. The prologue to the film shows the town's sheriff (Nick Brimble) kicking down the door of a deserted house, and walking in on a man and his dead wife. Flash forward, this is the Shaw's new house. Once they're settled into their new home Ellen's fragile state gets worse, she feels isolated. Martin barricades himself in the basement to get his writing done, he's moody and seems to have no time for his wife. Ellen begins hearing voices telling her she has only seven days to live. She thinks the voices are connected to the history of the house so finds the previous owner and learns more than she wanted to know.moreless
