Seven Pounds is a 2008 drama starring Will Smith in a gripping story about a man who begins a valiant quest for redemption after accidentally killing seven people in a car accident. Smith plays Tim Thomas, a kind-hearted man who has had trouble forgiving himself and moving on with his life after he caused a car wreck that took the lives of his wife and six strangers. Two years after the accident, Tim decides he'll save the lives of seven people in order to find peace before his own death. His quest begins after he donates a lung lobe to his ailing brother, Ben (Michael Ealy). Realizing there are plenty of other people badly in need of donations like this, Tim sets out to find good, honest people in need of his help. His travels introduce him to some incredible characters, but helping people isn't always as simple as it sounds.
