Seven Women From Hell is a war drama about seven women on the island of New Guinea who are taken prisoner by the Japanese when the country invades the island during the early days of World War II. The women come from a variety of backgrounds, including a nurse, Claire Oudry (Denise Darcel), and a bird expert, Patricia Owens (Grace Ingram). Even though their captors are cruel and unyielding, the women learn to work together despite personality conflicts and their varying backgrounds. Eventually they are able to escape their Japanese captors and seek refuge at a local plantation owned by a seemingly sympathetic man named Luis Hullman (Cesar Romero). What they do not know is that Hullman is secretly working with the Japanese and making a deal for their return. Seven Women From Hell was directed by Robert D. Webb, from a script by Pat Silver and Jesse Lasky Jr.
