Shaolin Family Soccer is a 2004 comedy by director Lau Tsun Fai, that is full of good, old Ms. Doubtfire-styled cross-dressing fun. When the successful couple (Chan Kai Tai and Loretta Lee) separates, they need to find a nanny, immediately, to take care of their young son (Sui Ming Kei) while they both work. There is only one problem: the kid is such a brat that no one wants to take care of him, no matter how high the couple jack up the nanny’s salary. Grandpa (Wong Yat Fai) has had about enough of the boy’s foolishness and disrespect, so he dons a dress and wig to become his own grandson’s new nanny. One of the first things he does is take the boy to the soccer field, to learn the value of teamwork. But does he have what it takes to control the rebellious youngster, both on and off of the soccer field? Shaolin Family Soccer is a comedy that the whole family will enjoy.moreless
