Shaolin Master Killer is one of the great classics of kung-fu cinema. Also known as "The 36th Chamber of Shaolin," the film follows a fictional retelling of the life of Shaolin monk San Te (Chia Hui Liu). When San Te joins a local rebellion against the Manchu government, his school is destroyed and his family and friends are all slaughtered. Barely surviving the attack, he travels to a Shaolin temple and learns the ways of the Shaolin monks. He surpasses all of the other students, quickly mastering the ways of the Shaolin. Now, San Te must use the teachings of the Shaolin to save his people and defeat the Manchus. Also featuring legendary kung-fu actor Gordon Liu, Shaolin Master Killer is one of the greatest kung-fu movies of all time.
