Shaolin Ulysses: Kung Fu Monks in America is an action packed documentary that focuses on five kung fu monks in search of the American dream. These monks trained and gained their skills from China's legendary Shaolin Temple and have all decided to leave their beautiful homeland to travel to America. These five men have the dream of bringing their martial arts to the west. These five men include Shi Guolin, Zhang Li Peng, Shi Xing Hao, Shin De Shan, and Shi Xing Hong. All of the men are real monks and masters of the martial arts. This movie is full of action scenes and scenes with great acts of martial arts. The whole film tells the story of these five men (narrated by Beau Bridges). It delves into all of their personal lives and stories and their lives as martial artists. It is an informative film about the martial arts and it is entertaining as well. This movie is perfect for anyone who is seeking an adventurous film that couples Chinese martial arts and the quest to get and live the American dream.moreless
